A New Beginning

This is going to be my story, but my anonymous story. Hopefully it will be worth reading, but it may not always be entirely true. Names will be changed, and details may be omitted or altered or just plain made up. The reason for this is that truth is a slippery creature, and getting all the details right is not the same as telling what really happened; I believe there's usually more truth in fairy tales than in biographies. So this will not be an autobiography, not quite a fairy tale, but a story about a person very much like the one who is writing it.
